Éric Abidal (born in Lyon, France, July 11, 1979, age 31 years) is a central defender or left back who plays Martinique-born French entities 186 cm. He is a career at the club FC Barcelona in La Liga today. By October 2007 he had 31 caps for France.
On the 5 January 2011, Abidal scored his first goal with Barcelona at the San Mamés Stadium in a Copa del Rey match vs Athletic Bilbao. His goal meant that Barcelona could advance to the quarter-final due to the away goal rule. Number 22.
